Outcome Based Therapy - What to Expect

Different from the start!

During your 90 minute Initial Session , you’ll work directly with a therapist to review your medical history and evaluate your posture, pain challenges, nutritional needs. Following your evaluation, you and your therapist will design a treatment plan to address the challenges you’re facing and conduct your first treatment.
Suggested attire: comfortable or athletic clothing

Following  your initial session, we’ll welcome you back to our office on a regular basis for follow-up care and maintenance. Each 60 minute Continued Care Session will be tailored to your specific needs, using the many treatment modalities that we specialize in. See the complete list here. 

Frequently Asked Questions

 No, we do NOT accept Health Insurance at this time. However, although we can’t guarantee it, we’ll make every attempt to assist you in seeking reimbursement from your insurance provider.

 

  • You will need a prescription from your physician that states a qualifying diagnostic, such back pain, piriformis syndrome or frozen shoulder
  • Does your insurance cover CPT (Common Procedure Terminology) 97140? Note: The CPT Code massage is a different code and usually not covered by health insurance
  • The prescription should also state the number of sessions prescribed

 

Accepted forms of payment include cash, debit and credit cards. Bookings require a deposit of $100, which is applied to the cost of session at time of service.  

 No, a prescription or physician referral  is not required; however, if you do have one, please bring it and imaging REPORTS to your Initial Session. 

 No. It is recommended that you either change into or wear either a bathing suit, sports bra, bike shorts, leggings, or underwear and bra. This allows for more accurate observations of movement, posture and some technique applications.   

 Possibly, yes, and to a varied degree depending upon your activity levels, diet, hydration, and more. 

 Most techniques we use focus on communication with your parasympathetic nervous system, meaning we work WITH your body, not against it. There are; however, some techniques that can and will cause some bruising. Be sure to inform us of ALL medications and supplements your are taking.  

 If you have a medical condition and are uncertain if massage is safe for you, please ask your physician.
